In 1991, Dr. Manfred Koehler GmbH, a statistics and biometrics company in Freiburg, was founded.

In 1996 the company developed a tool for distributed data collection.

Web based clinical trials continued since 1998 using the software solution TRI@L-IT.

In August 2001 the IT department became an independent company, clinIT. Since then clinIT has gone from strength to strength; its application TRI@L-IT has been continuously advanced and adapted to our customers' requirements with a new version released typically every 16 months.

Now, clinIT can look back on over 10 years of EDC experience in more than 140 TRI@L-IT projects. TRI@L-IT brings together sites on all continents in multicentre global trials as well as study teams for smaller-scale trials. The very high degree of repeat business demonstrates our success in achieving our priority aim of exceeding our customer's expectations. Mid-size and top ten pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies as well as CROs rely on our expert services.
